As Google planned to create a mixed-use development in San José, they needed a way to communicate project details to the community and
invite conversation.

I began with a brand archetype exercise, where we defined the personality and approach Google needed to adopt — one that was humble to San José but inspiring about the project’s possibilities to benefit the community.

I developed a project manifesto and brand narrative to guide messaging. Next, working with the San José-based web design firm Baunfire, I developed the content for the web site, working with various stakeholders at Google to ensure that all language was on-brand and consistent with the company’s communication goals.
